A History of Service

We are part of the world's largest service club organization. Whenever our club gets together, problems get smaller. And our community gets better. That's because we help where help is needed; in our own communities and around the world, with unmatched integrity and energy.

  • We are the largest Local Civic Club of active members Serving the Community

  • We meet every first and third Thursday in the month, weather permitting

  • We Also maintain Sanford Lions Charitable Works, a 501(c)3 organization to accept tax deductible gifts which are used to benefit our scholarships and our social programs.

  • Memorials are also received for deceased Lions.
